Fifth Grade Maturation
The 5th-grade maturation program is a vital component of our health and wellness curriculum, designed to provide students with accurate, age-appropriate information. We view this program not just as a lesson, but as a bridge to open, honest conversations between students and their trusted adults. By providing access to materials presented by healthcare professionals, our goal is to empower families to navigate this transition together in a way that feels comfortable and safe. While participation is voluntary, we encourage families to use these resources as a foundation for ongoing dialogue.

Nursing
Student safety and well-being are at the heart of everything we do at Welby Elementary. While we have trained staff on-site daily for basic first aid, we are also fortunate to have a dedicated Jordan School District nurse who visits our building regularly each week. She manages specialized medical plans, coordinates health screenings, and ensures our school stays fully aligned with district health policies. If your child has specific medical needs or requires a healthcare plan during the school year, please reach out to her via email.
