Band is coming back to Welby Elementary.....

Dear Welby Elementary Families,

I hope this message finds you well! My name is Candido Jessee Abeyta, and I’m absolutely thrilled to introduce myself as the new Band Teacher at Welby Elementary. I’m so excited to join the Welby community and can’t wait to get started with the incredible students here!

I’ve been teaching for the last 10 years and have been a musician for 26 years. As a professional saxophonist in the Salt Lake Valley, I’ve had the privilege of performing with some amazing artists when they visit the area, and I am also a studio musician for Warner Chapel Music. I love sharing my passion for music with others and look forward to inspiring students to explore their own musical talents.

I’m excited to resume our program this coming Monday, February 24th at 8:00 AM! I can’t wait to meet the students and begin making music together.
